Discussion on the nonexistent AO3 app, and specifically on the potent question that why the sodding hell do you want an app when there is a fully functional mobile website

OMG. I use the mobile site all the time to read fics. Actually I read fics on my phone more often than not!

Yeah, me too. And AO3 has a good mobile site too, certianly better than FFNs.

The only reason I use the app is because it has an option to increase font size xP

I do most of my A03 reading on my phone, on the regular site, I guess...on the train. I have no problem with it.

Yeah, I probably do too these days. It's depressing that there's so many people out there who apparently can't conceive of internet platforms existing on the web only.
