Moana

Everything I ever wanted out of a Disney Princess film, Moana gave me. To make the list:
- NO LOVE INTEREST
- Girl protagonist needs to learn stuff and saves the day from stuff she's learned
- Girl protagonist yearning for the great wide somewhere and getting it too
- Female mentor figure
- Funny non-human sidekick is genuinely funny for people older than eight
- Antagonist Is Not Evil Because Evil
- It's genuinely good
- Taika Waititi in the credits
- A+ thirty year old dub joke

I'm also choosing to interpret Moana starting and ending her journey by finding that pretty pink labia shells to be a nod at her future sex life.

It might in part be the fact that Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks were the only Zelda games that engaged me enought to spend hours on them, but this is a genuinely good film and it's a goddamn pity that the songs are so meh.

Like, even the fucking Phil Collins numbers from the millenial era worked better than the songs in this one.

But except from that it's really great, and certainly far above the medicricy of Frozen.
